NON-DISCRIMINATORY POLICY
Faith Lutheran School admits students of any race, color, sex, age, handicap, national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school. It does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, sex, age, and disability, national and ethnic origin in administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, and athletic and other school-administered programs.
ADMISSION POLICY
Faith Lutheran School is maintained primarily for the benefit of the children of the congregation. This education is supported through the regular offerings received through the members of Faith congregation.
Parents who are not members of Faith Lutheran Church, but who desire Christian education for their children, are invited to enroll their children. Non-member children do participate in the total curriculum of the school. This includes the memorization of the cheif parts of Luther's Catechism, Scripture passages, selected hymns, enrollment in Confirmation class when in the seventh and eighth grades, and participation in all other normally required religious instruction.
Non-member children are also expected to be present in church services when their classes are scheduled to participate. Non-member parents are invited and encouraged to attend an Adult information class that they might be fully aware of the distinctive character of the Lutheran religious education their children are receiving.
Children entering kindergarten must be five years of age on or before September 1st of the new school year.
There is no tuition charge for members of Faith Lutheran Church. Members are mindful that in 2013-14 it will cost over $4200.00 to educate one child and those costs continue to rise.
