Faith Lutheran School is accredited by the National Council for Private School Accreditation (NCPSA), Wisconsin Independent and Religious Schools Accreditation (WRISA) and by Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod School Accreditation (WELSSA).
Q. What is the purpose of becoming an accredited school?
A. Accreditation keeps us accountable to an outside body. This in turn helps us to continue to strive for excellence, follow through on our future plans, and continue to meet academic and other standards.
Q. What does it take to become accredited?
A. A. To become accredited a school must apply for accreditation from one or more accrediting agencies, conduct a comprehensive self- study of all aspects of the school's operation, and submit the self-study to an outside team of educators. That team then reviews the self- study and conducts an onsite evaluation. After their evaluation, they recommend for or against accreditation. Faith has been accredited since 2010.
Q. How long does accreditation last?
A. Faith will need to reapply for accreditation every 7 years.
